A copyright notice and copyright registration are not the same thing.

In the United States, copyright protection generally begins when an eligible original work is created and fixed — recorded, written down, photographed, saved, or otherwise captured in a fixed form.

A notice tells people that copyright is being claimed in the work. Federal registration is a separate process through the U.S. Copyright Office and can provide additional legal benefits.

SpinStream is not the Copyright Office, and a Permanent Mark is not government registration.
